Conference Location

The conference will be held at Alpin Resort Hotel, located in Poiana Brasov, approximately 12 km from the city of Brasov, in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains.

Information about accommodation at the hotel and the facilities offered to conference participants will be posted soon.

Poiana Brasov is a well-known mountain resort in Romania and is easily accessible by air, rail, and road.

How to get there

Via Bucharest, Henri Coanda International Airport (OTP)

By train: Airport (OTP) to Gara de Nord, Bucharest (20 – 25 minutes). Gara de Nord to Brasov Railway Station (~2 h 30 minutes).

    • Continue by bus: Brasov Railway Station to Livada Postei, Bus Line 4 (10 – 15 minutes). Livada Postei to Poiana Brasov, Bus Line 20 (20 – 25 minutes; the bus final stop).
    • Walk to the hotel (10 – 15 minutes).

By car: Airport (OTP) to Poiana Brasov (distance: 160 km; ~2.5 – 3 h).

    • Suggested routes:    A3 motorway + DN1 (recommended) or directly DN1
    • Navigation:                Google Maps / Waze: Alpin Resort Hotel, Strada Poiana Doamnei 9, Poiana Brasov

Shuttle Service – Available on request (additional cost) on the routes:

    • Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) to Alpin Resort Hotel;
    • Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport (GHV) to Alpin Resort Hotel.

By bus: Airport (GHV) to Livada Postei, Bus Line A1 (~30 minutes). Livada Postei to Poiana Brasov, Bus Line 20 (20 – 25 minutes; the bus final stop).

    • Walk to the hotel (10 – 15 minutes).

By car: Airport (GHV) to Alpin Resort Hotel, Poiana Brasov (~30 minutes).
